A foggy rainbow, sometimes called a white rainbow, is a rainbow-like phenomenon; However, as its name implies, it looks more like a bow in the fog than in the rain. Appears due to the very small size of the droplets causing fog as small as 0.05 mm.

 The fog rainbow has only very faint colors with a red outer rim and a blue inner rim.

In many cases, when the droplets are very small, the fog rainbow appears white, so they are sometimes called white rainbows. With its large angular size, this colorlessness is a feature of a fog bow that distinguishes it from a glorious one, which has many light-colored rings caused by variation.

When droplets form, when it is almost the same size, the fog bow may have several inner rings or super numerals that are stronger in color than the main bow.
